The Himalaya is one of the most artistic creations of Nature with a sense of mystery, magic and charm of its forests, towering peaks, cold deserts, tranquil glacial lakes, spectacular landscapes..Awe inspiring beauty where time seems to stand still. A third of the entire span of Himalaya lies in Nepal, which is also the home to eight out of worlds fourteen tallest mountains, including Mt. Everest.

Kuntal Joisher's love story with Nepal started in 1984 when he visited the country as a 4 year old boy. In last few years Joisher has spent several months each year photographing and climbing in the Himalaya of Nepal. Joisher considers Nepal to be his second home! Today, Nepal is at the beginning of a long and painful road to recovery, and Joisher feels that we must do all we can to support them. Tourism and adventure travel brings in significant income for Nepal, and today is seen as a great way to rebuild a healthy and sustainable future for Nepal. Joisher wants to inspire the viewers to fall in love with Nepal by taking them on a visual journey through the some of the most spectacular big mountain scenery in the World! The eventual hope is that the viewers would consider spending their next vacation in Nepal and thereby contributing positively towards rebuilding the devastated country.

The photo prints would be on sale, and 100% profits would be contributed towards The Himalayan Club's Nepal rehabilitation project. Direct contributions towards The Himalayan Club for Project Nepal would be most welcome.
