Sadashige Inada was a famous Japanese mountaineer and President of The Himalayan Association of Japan (HAJ), Tokyo. He was an ambassador for HAJ mountaineers. Inada would travel to the Himalayan country before an expedition was launched. With his mild manners and excellent rapport all arrangements were made before the team arrived. As a cultural secretary of the state, he kept himself busy with various activities and conferences. He himself did not climb much in Himalaya but he was an excellent organiser. He had a large collection of Himalayan books, both in Japanese and English.
