Józef Nyka

Józef Nyka (born on December 5, 1924 in Łysinin) is a Polish mountaineer, mountain tourism promoter and an author of guidebooks. He is known for completion of first-class road crossings and first crossings in the Tatra mountains and in the Dolomites. He is Honorary member of prestigious international mountaineering and mountain organizations, including the Polish Mountaineering Association.
