Yearly events organised by Pune section of The Himalayan Club:
- Annual Program in April: Audio-visual presentations by members on treks & expeditions done in the previous year and Vrinda Chinchwadkar Memorial Lecture. Dr. Vrinda Chinchwadkar was active trekker who died in an accident and in her memory, a female mountaineer is invited to present her achievements in the field of mountaineering. Up till now, since year 2015, following female mountaineers have been invited – Ms. Vinita Muni, Ms. Pallavi Vartak, Ms. Ushaprabha Page & Ms. Sucheta Kadethankar.
- One Day Treks in Sahyadri: These are arranged in almost every month from June to December to various forts and average 5 such treks are arranged every year.
- High Altitude Trekking Expeditions in Himalaya: These are arranged in various parts of Indian & Nepalese Himalaya once or twice a year in summer or autumn season.
- Prabhakar Patankar Mountain Talks: This event is organized every year in month of January in memory of Late Mr. Prabhakar Patankar who was one of the earliest active members of the club. Eminent achievers in the field of mountain adventure and climbing are invited to present and discuss about their endeavors. Up till now, since 2019 following persons have been invited – Mr. Rijul Gill, Mr. Narendra Kumar Gautam, Mr. Anil Retawade, Mr. Harshad Rao & Mr. Peter Van Geit & Mr. Vivek Shivade.
- Mountain Adventure Film Festivals: Various film festivals are organized round the year like Banff Mountain Film Festival, IMF Film Festival, Women Adventure Film Festival etc.
