After initial foray into the high passes in 2018 Peter decided to spent the entire summer of 2019 in the Himalaya. He ended up exploring 120 passes across Uttarakhand, Himachal and Ladakh in as many days (4 months). The entire journey was alpine style - self planned, self-supported, mostly solo and minimalist ultra-paced. It was an amazing journey through mesmerizing natural beauty and unseen hospitality with shepherd's and mountain tribes.

Giripremi’s two mountaineers were selected for Mt. Ama Dablam expedition. Both Jitendra and Vivek had a wonderful performance during Kangchenjunga expedition just 5 months ago. Hence, they were given an opportunity to climb this technically challenging, dream peak of every mountaineer, Mt. Ama Dablam. Vivek is going to share story of how this expedition was unfold, what surprise challenges shook the duo, what went wrong, what turned right, and how it changed his perspective towards high altitude climbing and life in general.
